About Dr. Danielle
Dr. Danielle is the founder and author of Reselling Doctor. Reselling on platforms like ebay, Poshmark, and Mercari started out as a side hobby and a way to clear her closets but has now grown to a full time career. After earning her Ph.D. in biological sciences and nearly two decades working as a professional scientist, Dr. Danielle realized that she was applying her skills in scientific research and development to her reselling side job. She created a process for reselling on one platform, perfected the process, then shifted that expertise to reselling on additional platforms. That process has meant that she can sell more items on more platforms in less time, the real goal of research and development – best outcome with least input!

“Thrifting and deal finding has been a passion of mine since childhood. It was a much better way of spending my limited babysitting money than heading to the mall, and meant that I could find more items for less money. As a graduate student, I couldn’t afford to NOT buy thrifted clothing – even though I was spending every single day in my lab, I still wanted to be a fashionable 20-something. Thrifting lead to a very full closet, so I tried my hand at selling on eBay. Oh there were speed bumps along the way – lost packages, unexpected shipping costs, unhappy customers! I didn’t have a process in place so my reselling was chaotic, and there weren’t any great resources for resellers who were just getting started. That became the inspiration for this blog – get the information into the hands of people who can use it. I did the research on how to be a successful reseller so you don’t have to!” –Dr. Danielle
